Hypocrisy!

Hypocrisy-\hi-ˈpä-krə-sē\
etymology: NOT NEEDED! It's too long!
1 : a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not; especially : the false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion
2 : an act or instance of hypocrisy

Just in case you are wondering why am I writing this, this is a note to all my fellow beings who were a victim of the HYPOCRISY of others around you. And this was such an IRRITATING experience!

They are everywhere. From schools, offices, churches, and even the senate itself also has counts of hypocrites. And to be exact, we (yeah, WE! all of my family members are victims) were victimized by conniving, gay-like, awfully arrogant GUY and so HE's family (if you have a clue who am I referring to, LUCKY YOU!). Actually, we have been victimized by them for more than a year. And the nicest thing, THEY CLAIM THEMSELVES AS TOTALLY RELIGIOUS! OH $@## YOU! (Excuse me on what is censored, that is how I really feel. I hope you understand my feelings.)

We actually had some suspects. Yes, SUSPECTS! Not just in church, but also, in the Filipino community itself has some beautiful (sarcastically) hypocrites. They roam around the Kingdom. I think that is the reason why my dad also decided to leave this awfully barren yet happy country. And they will always try to ruin either your day or your LIFE! How NICE! (OH ANOTHER @#$@ YOU!)

Whoever started that attitude must be dead by now! (Kidding! That is so mean of me.) But what the hey! Why not imagine him or her dead, it's feelings is what we are talking about here, right? But such thoughts are so bad, it may give you such image to other people.

To conclude this, there is only one thing I want to say to all hypocrites that may or might read this : STOP THAT CRAP OR YOU'RE GETTING IT!

GOODBYE SAUDI ARABIA!!!

Well, I guess this is it. The time that my oldest brother has been waiting for. The departure from this country. SAUDI ARABIA.

After 12 years of staying in this desert, my dad has come to his sense that we have to leave by next year. When I first heard the news from the mouth of my sister, I was overly shocked. Totally unexpected.  I was hoping to stay here for more than a year.  But I guess that is the final decision.

There are at least few things I will miss in this country. Let's start.
I will miss:
Shawarma
Sharookh
Kabsa
Falafel
My friends who are still  enduring to stay in this barren land
The places we've been to
The fresh fruit drinks they made
Kudu
The abundance of tissue papers from any fast food chains
Chlorinated water
Wide open roads
Almost no one outside
My dad's car
The automatic washing machine
The MUSIC! (in other words, the prayer time!)
The mustawas catching you wearing shorts (I'm referring to the religious police)
Oh the SHABABS that really gets on my nerve
The softdrinnks that are sold cheaply
The bag of chips that are sold cheaply
And last but not the least: The rooftops!

But of course, there are things that I really hate in this country.
And those are:
THE ABAYA!
The mutawas
The perverts
The restriction of talking to women in public
No cinemas
The restriction of open practicing of your own faith
THE HOMOSEXUALS!!!! (never forget them!)
The underground peer pressure (if you want to know about it, don't hesitate to ask)
AND THE LAST AND FOR MOST: Some websites are blocked by which they are not pornographic

But despite with all the things that I hate in this freaking country, since I grew up here, I will miss you forever, SAUDI ARABIA. No matter how obnoxious you can get, no matter how stupid some people can get, I will always cherish all the good times I've had in this country.

Even though I only have 10 months left in here, I will make the most of it. No matter how bad it may get, I think that is worth paying the consequences.

I will never, no ever, forget you Saudi Arabia.

What Happened from that 2 months of no INTERNET!!!

Oh how I miss the internet so much! Stinginess was ruling the whole time! Well, can't blame my dad for it. The only way that I can go check my e-mails, Facebook, Twitter, etc. is either the rooftop where I have to use my iPod or my sister's laptop, or the church. Well, I often go to the rooftop. That is the only way though. I can't go to the church everyday, unless there is an activity. Anyways, the past two months was like a crap hole to me. I have done nothing but to do the chores, cook, be nagged by my brother and sister, be annoyed by my nemeses, and as always, the basic alternative of mine, watching television!

But somehow, I made that 2 months worth while waiting for the return. I read some books, done a lot of exercise which is always missed most of the time, had a meaningful conversation with my sister and my dad, and fixed things that were needed to be fixed.

From that 2 months of waiting and enduring all the pain and suffering (What a lame-o!), I learned the greatest thing of all, using my time. Most of it is I just waste it. I am the type of person who is always lazy to do meaningful things, or even saving it. That is the worst habit that I can ever have. AND I LOVE IT!

Expect the Totally Unexpected!

Just awhile ago, we had a Young Men Activity outside the Riyadh center, and when got out of the Riyadh center, there are things you wouldn't think that exist in this parts of the world, but I must say I am totally amazed by it.

Just a couple of weeks earlier, we had a caving activity, where I've never thought that there is, oh wait, THERE ARE SOME FEW CAVES IN THIS COUNTRY! I've heard of the Hofuf Cave, but I haven't been there, so I thought that that cave is the only cave in the country. But when I heard about an activity from the week before we had that one, I was totally surprised that there are some caves in here! And for the record, they are not the type of caves that you would think of, but you would see that they're there! And another thing, THEY HAVE WATER! UNDERGROUND WATER!!!! ISN'T THAT AMAZING?! I know that I may sound really ignorant, but I am easily amazed, just like a kid watching Power Rangers.

Another thing that really put the heck out of me, is the lake we've been. What is very interesting about the lake, is that it only appears once in a blue moon. What I mean is that it only gains water when there is a very heavy rain, just like in the past few weeks. And another interesting fact about that lake, its inhabited by what they call tadpole shrimps. Yes, tadpole shrimps. When the time our dearly beloved leader announced the activity of that one, and saying that there are creatures that can live without water for a very long period of time. I first thought of mud skippers, because that is what I was imagining at that moment. But when we arrived in our designated place, and we went down to the shore of the lake, we first noticed the creatures that lives there, and they are the tadpole shrimps. THEY ALL LOOK FUNKY AND SCARY!!! When I saw they, I got goosebumps because they looked like they lived in the times of the dinosaurs, well, it's their species that lived BEFORE the time of the dinosaurs. But even though it was all freaky and such, it was still fun.

Despite all the bad things people think about Saudi Arabia, there would always be something good about. No matter what it is.

Lady GaGa!

Well, my friend, Jacob told me if I write something about Lady GaGa, he would read my blog. I don't know if I will take that one as a recommendation or a suggestion, because I am totally confused!

Anyways, I still got to do this. And I will take that one as a recommendation.

Lady GaGa,  known for her at-most popping music, totally controversial dance moves, and awfully surprising fashion get-up, not to mention her sudden plastic surgery that gave her a totally different look, is one of the most famous artist from the start of the year. Popped out last 2008, Lady GaGa showed to the people that she has something, and she totally did. At the end of the year, she topped the hit listers with no longer than 6 months! (I guess that is right, but if it's wrong, don't hesitate to leave a comment.) And at the next year, she stunned the people with her catchy music and brow-raising music videos. But despite of all those highly controversial actions on live performances, connotative gestures, and unbelievable outfits, behind all those things is a very humble, down-to-earth, and friendly Lady GaGa. And I must say, she has the guts to show who she really is! Despite the criticism, the  insults, and high untrue gossips about her, she just let them do their thing and she does her thing. How about that for an artist?!

We may see her as a insane, half-naked, sexually active, provocative person, but the inner her still prevails.

I may not be a fan, but I must admit I like her songs. And I think that she is one heck of a person! Lady GaGa, you're the GURL!

The Start of a Diet

At the start of the year, I've decided to go on a diet.

Yes. A diet!

Seriously, I am overweight. I may not look like one, but in our family. I have reached my limit. I currently weigh about 71 kg. In pounds in weigh 156.2 lbs. For my height and age, it's not good.

I may not look like I am an obese person, but my sickness are showing up. And my parents are the ones who are scared for me.

For them to stop being scared, I have decided to go on a diet.

So the diet that I decided is made by myself. And it's called "JUST DRINK WATER AT THE DAYTIME DIET!".

I know sounds really stupid, weird, or anything else you have in mind, but I think this may work really well. I started it last week though. And I must say, there are so many changes that I saw.

First one is that, my tummy, or I might call it "THE BEER GUT", is somewhat starting to lose. What I meant it that its slowly disappearing.

Second, my eating habits at night changed drastically. One proof is that I eat my dinner in small amounts, and I don't eat at the mid-night too.

And lastly, it made me more productive than the times that I am not yet in a diet.

I think that this maybe the start of my new life though, after all the medical problems that I faced before.
And if I lose my weight and my excess fats, I can buy any types of clothes that I want!

From this day forward, I will continue this until I obtain my desired weight and figure!

But before this, let me start with an aimed weight. So, let's aim for a little bit lower, OK?

How about going for 4 kg. in a week?

That sounds reasonable enough. I better do more exercises, because a diet itself won't do.

I have to do it now!

So! OFF WE GO!!!!

Happiness!

I can't believe this is happening to me!

To start with, my dad and my three little siblings went on a vacation back in the Philippines. And so, we, the older children of our dad, left us here, in Riyadh.

ISN'T THAT GREAT?!

Like, we can do everything we want! (Except getting into troubles!)
I RULE THE TELEVISION!
I AM OFTEN LEFT ALONE AT HOME!
I LEAVE THE DIRTY DISHES ALONE FOR HOURS AND HOURS!
I CAN SING AND DANCE WITH ANYONE LOOKING OR JUDGING !
I HAVE NO ONE TO FIGHT OVER AN INTERNET CONNECTION! ( THE GREATEST ONE!)

This is totally unbelievable!

And another thing.

I can go to places that I want to without worrying about my little siblings!

This may sound really stupid, but I think it doesn't.

I just learned how to ride a two-wheeled bike!

I can't believe that I made it through!

THIS HAPPINESS IS OVERFLOWING!

OH MY GOODNESS!!

I have never been this happy in my life!

And because I am happy, I LOVE YOU ALL!
